MAY - RENEWAL

MAY - RENEWAL

May comes from the Latin word Maius, referring to the goddess Maia. This goddess embodied the concept of growth. It is perhaps because of this, that May signifies a time of renewal and growth, both in nature and in our lives. It's a period for shedding the old and embracing the new, whether that means starting fresh projects, pursuing personal goals, or fostering spiritual growth. As we witness the beauty of nature blooming around us, May encourages us to cultivate gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in our lives. It's an opportunity to reflect on the abundance we have and to express gratitude. This month truly embodies the joyousness of life and the vitality of the natural world. It's  an invitation for us to celebrate life's blessings, to embrace moments of happiness and laughter, and to find delight in the simple pleasures of existence.

HOW WILL YOU COMMIT TO CHOOSING JOY EACH DAY?

May is also mental health awareness month. Mental health is very important. It impacts how we feel, think, and behave every single day.  It contributes to our enjoyment of life, ability to cope with stress and sadness, the fulfillment of goals and potential, and our sense of connection to others. That's why, we must make the commitment to care about our own mental wellness. Between hectic work schedules, gloomy newsreels, daily chores, and making time for friends and family, there’s plenty of stress to go around. Anyone can benefit from simple strategies to cope with some of the pressure. This month I invite you to really commit to protecting your mental health & daily peace.
