APRIL - AWAKEN

APRIL - AWAKEN

As the month where Spring starts to reach it full expression, this month is seen as a time to embrace new beginnings, nurture aspirations and celebrate the joy & beauty of life. The transition from dormant winter in some parts of the world to the reawakening of life by the blossoming of flowers is a metaphor for our own personal growth and rejuvenation - our own coming home. Like a seedling reaching towards the sun, we have the power to nurture our dreams and aspirations, allowing them to flourish and bloom. This month is an invitation to step out of our comfort zone, cultivate our inner gardens and tend to the seeds of our desires so that we can create the life we deserve.

This month I encourage you to:

  • get out in nature - make a conscious effort to spend time outdoors. taking the time to be fully present with the vibrance of life around us, the colors, the sensation of air on our bodies, the sights, the sounds, the aromas. Allow your senses to fully engage, to come to life. To be grateful for all of the small details.

  • declutter - spring cleaning only just started last month. it is essential to continue to make room for everything you want to carry in your journey. So use this month to release old patters, beliefs and emotions that no longer serve you in addition to letting go of any physical clutter. Remember we can only take in what we have space for.
