MARCH - RENEWAL
MARCH - RENEWAL
March is full of symbolism. Named after Mars the roman god of war, who encourages us to have great courage, to be bold in our actions and decisions, to take the right initiative to make the positive changes we want to see in our lives. March also brings the first month of spring, which always symbolizes a time of rebirth, renewal and transition. It is a time when nature starts to awaken and life begins to bloom again. For me this month is the universes reminder to spring clean - both physically and spiritually. It’s a time that I try and focus on cleansing and purifying my spaces, body & mind. These cleanses are necessary to prepare myself for the new growth that spring brings.
Some of my favorite ways to spring clean are:
Spaces - smudging with copal and fresh herbs, resoiling my plants, moving furniture around
Body - clean eating, moving my body daily, getting into a sauna or steam
Mind - daily journaling, therapy, sound baths
Give yourself the time to clear your vessel, make the space needed to plant the seeds you desire so you can bloom fully this Spring.
